or recommend a cure. Ask for a prescription. In severe cases your doctor may
recommend a cure in a hospital/ sanatorium.
Second step: Your health insurer
Whoever will carry the cost of a
cure your health insurer is the first to be addressed. There you will obtain
all information and forms.
Third step: Select place and date
For a cure in a hospital
or sanatorium the client and insurer will choose place and time. The length of
your stay should be three weeks; depending on medical needs it could be more.
For an ambulant cure the client chooses date and place for his cure.

Attention please –
if your stationary or ambulant cure will be covered by the retirement
insurance, it is up to the insurer to choose place and date of cure
Fourth step: The spa cure doctor
If you have received
from your insurer a form for a spa cure doctor or the confirmation of cover,
please contact before starting the cure a local Spa Cure doctor in Bad
Bellingen. Your host will get you in contact with the doctor!
The stationary spa cure
Cost
At a stationary cure the
self-coverage will be 10 € per day. The insurer will cover the rest.
Legal advise
Insurers will only cover a cure
every three years unless the medical necessity is proven. Retirement insurers
will only cover a cure after a certain minimum period of insurance. With start
of retirement there will be no more coverage for a cure by a retirement
insurer. In that case your health insurance will take care of the costs.
Hardship cases
For persons who will not be able to
