Bad Bellingen now offers an environmentally-friendly transportation service: climate-neutral car sharing with electric vehicles and a network of charging stations, among others at the thermal bath.

The electric vehicle can be used by everybody without requiring a great deal of bureaucracy. First you have to register on the internet site www-my-e-car.de thus concluding a framework contract. You have to indicate your personal data, your driving licence’s data as well as a credit card. The driving licence has to be presented to a registration office at a later stage to check its authenticity. The customers then get their customer card which allows access to the electric vehicles. From now on you can easily reserve a vehicle by internet or smart-phone. Booking and access to the vehicle are possible around the clock. Vehicles can be booked for a duration of only one hour or more.
At Bad Bellingen the electric vehicle is located in front of the townhall, Rheinstraße 25 where you can also find a registration office. A further registration office is in the tourist information office at Bad Bellingen, Badstraße 14.

The vehicle pool of my-e-car comprises presently a total of 30 vehicles of the type Renault ZOE. My-e-car uses the charging station network of “Energiedienst” which has as early as now about 40 quick-charging stations (22 kW) in Southern Baden which are supplied with certified regional green electricity “NaturEnergie Gold” originating from the hydroelectric power plant Whylen. A Renault ZOE can, for example, be recharged within one hour.
